hi,maybe you can help?,im haveing this problem were any program i open on
my computer, includeing windows programs, wont (respond) for a cupple of
seconds then it will respond.,this or so dose not afect anythink else on
the computer except the problem im posting.,ive never had this problem
before,it only started happeing when i reinstalled last time from vista to
the fatory XP OS,
then i install vista then this was happending, but only after i installed a
few programs that are TRUST WORTHY no virus.just can not under stand what
the hell is causeing this?? any ways this is what im running

Although you installed programs that you consider trust worthy, obviously at
least one is causing this problem, I'd suggest removing them one at a time
until you find the culprit.

Unfortunatly, most people will tell you 2 Gigs RAM is the new recommended
level for Vista. Fortunatly RAM is cheap now. Unfortunatly it still costs
money.

hi paul i found part of it.....it was my printer software from the HP web
site .,but still haz its little moments of being slow to open, could this be
cos im running 1GB of ram and should i use 2GB ram? cos my processor is only
2.0 GHZ AMD.,could my processor be damaged??

First thought that comes to mind always is Viruses.

Good luck with that, I remove them for a [part-time] living (which I
loathe), and I gotta tell ya, they suck.

Funny thing is though, Vista is quite resilliant to Viruses now a days,
usually it's the XP systems with all the problems. Probably just no good
Vista viruses out yet.

Other than that, I don't know what to suggest, update your drivers, worse
case scenario, reinstall vista, or find a professional that can diagnose
your system for you. Geek Squad does hardware diagnoses for $59, but if you
want the software fixed it's usually $199

na no viruses in there, ive tryed full system scan with my antivirus, and ive
downloaded the Malicious software revoval tool from microsoft and run it &
its fine.i rekon its a hard ware problem..ether my processor is on its way!
or my HHD is stuffed,i would like to upgrade my HHD from a 80gb to a 160gb
anyway.,so getting a new processor is going to be tricky!(cos thay dont make
em any more), maybe...i could can get a better processor thats compatible
with my motherboard.,but even then its a big stuff around finding what
processor will work and what wont work .
