Hi,
I have Windows XP Professional (arabic edition). The
problem started after I installed [Norton Personal Firewall] ..

Everything was working just fine. But after a while I
couldn't have access to my hotmail services and the site
asked my to enable cookies (it was enabled) and problems in
signing-in generally. And now not a single program can
access to the internet except [Mozilla FireFox] because I
installed it after removing [norton personaal firewall]
What shall I do??

thank you for your cooperation!!!

You need to check the settings in Norton's firewall. It sounds like
you've got things closed up too tightly. There is probably a help file
or tutorial included with the program. If you believe you've got the
settings done correctly (and are really sure), then go to Symantec's
Knowledge Base for your product and see if this is a known issue,
there's a patch or workaround. This is not an XP problem; the issue is
with Symantec's software.

I don't know if Firefox works with Norton's apparent attempts to block
cookies, which would explain why it works. Does Norton have any cookie
settings?
