Programmes not working in profiles (2)

Unable to get new Epson scanner software to work correctly - different parts
work to some effect on some profiles ( four in use), but not fully on any
one. Re-install with USB lead plugged in seems to have caused further
problems, uninstall and reinstall now seems to repeat same issues.

If I uninstalled all folder/references to Epson in regedit under H-key
entries would I be able to do a clean install, or would I make things (much)
worse???

check the rights for the users. login as a computer administrator and then

Been there, done that CG, even discussed with Epson helpdesk - they admit
there is an occasional clash with XP settings, but wont take responsibility
for suggesting a fix in case further PC problems (and lawsuits!) ensue!

I would be happy if I can get it to work in one profile, but need to undo
the damage I have caused so far, hence extreme measures under consideration.

Further suggestions/ideas/solutions will be gratefully received.
