Programmer job: C#, ASP.NET, VC++. Westchester

Seasoned, experienced, expert developer with excellent written and oral
communication skills needed for on-going development of a new, commercial,
statistical research system. Candidate should have serious VC++ database
programming experience and recent C# ASP.Net experience. Any MFC,
statistics, or WinSock experience is a plus.

This full-time position, with paid overtime, is in upper Westchester (with
initial interview in Manhattan). Technical interview will be a grilling.
After a while on the job, occasional telecommuting might be possible. Work
environment is fast-paced with friendly, talented people who are
team-oriented.

i think we all need to get underground back to the mirc days... it used to
be so good... no spams... and you needed great deal of knowledge to get in

I agree. My original post was delivered with (hopefully) a bit of levity.
My sense of humor is often strange and impulsive at times. <smile>

Anyway, even in the holiday season, I'm seeing many more C# jobs being
created. I don't know if it is a phenomenon of Denver or if other people
are seeing the same thing.

learning curve takes a nose dive... (read the caveat again!)

I don't think these people are really hiring. I think most of them are
testing the market. just an opinion.

i think we all need to get underground back to the mirc days... it used to
be so good... no spams... and you needed great deal of knowledge to get in
spam is bad, page slaps suck, and people in general are jerks, but elitist
newsgroups make it difficult to learn from the people who really know what
they're doing. When newbies have to learn from only other newbies, the
learning curve takes a nose dive... (read the caveat again!)
