--visited a adult website--a program was downloaded into
my xp-version 8.5 that does not appear in the control
panel--when I look up the file am unable to delete it.
Any ideas other than to stay out of certain sites. Craig
 
Not sure what Windows XP version 8.5 is but, run a
antivirus scan, spyware scan, and check your add/remove
programs for programs releated to the "subject"
