program trying to run at startup

I have a new computer. I started to run Partition Magic 7, but changed my
mind. Now at every startup, before Windows loads, I get a message saying the
file xmnt2001 is not found and autocheck has been cancelled.

How can I get this cleaned out.

Go to Start > Run > msconfig
Startup tab and disable partition magic.

Thank you. I also found the following, which worked. It also was submitted
by a "Roger" at annoyances.org.

Go to regedit: HKLM\system\current control set\control\session manager then
change the boot execute key value to ...

autocheck autochk*
