"Program too big to fit in memory" Is there any fix?

Hello Global Friends,
I have a folder full of installers more than 1gb in size. When I try to open
any files in this folder, a dos prompt appears "Program too big to fit in
memory" and closes the window. I have searched Google and found the reason
for this. But did find a reason to fix this. Is there any software available
to make these files (exe and zip) in normal condition.

Your kindest most honest response will be appreciated.

Can you move or copy a file to another folder and open it there? If so,
perhaps you should create separate "installer" folders and keep fewer
files in each one.
