My personal fav. is File2File
Completely free for private and educational use. It's not free
The website for File2File at
http://www.cryptomathic.com/file2file/index.html seems to imply that
File2File is Shareware...
I also don't think File2File will meet the posters needs since he is
looking for a program to encrypt not only files bit also folders.
File2File is great for files but It does not look like it will encrypt
folders..

And it does encrypt folders as well.
Dan said:I searched a long time for this program you are looking for. The
program is LockFolder 5.0. I am using on WindowsMe but the program
supports all operating systems. It is very simple to use and I have
never had a problem with. Actually I like using it just to lock up
folders, gets on other peoples nerves!!!!!!!! The website to download
is www.softpile.com/Utilities/Security/Review_19144_index.html
Good Luck!
