program to open excel sheets without excel

i worked with a excel spreadsheet but i dont have excel on my home computer
is it possible to open this and work on this without excel or microsoft home
office?

If you don't have Excel you could download the XLViewer that allows viewing
and printing Excel files.

NOTE: view and print only..........no editing or "working on"
