Program not responding at shutdown

Every time I shut down XP, I get a "Not Responding"
window, and the program name at the top is "wfet". I
have to click "End Now", or it won't shut down. Can't
find "wfet" anywhere on computer (msconfig, search). I
googled "wfet" and it appears to be a font related
program affiliated with IE.

In the meantime:

This edit automatically ends tasks and timeouts that prevent programs from
shutting down and clears the Paging File on Exit.

I had the same problem I could not find the program running anywhere.
The following worked:
in the run command type "MSConfig" a System Utility Screen will
appear.
Choose the Start Tab and deselect those items you do not want. This is
how I found the software. It was called "updatestats.exe" location was
program files/media/media.
