Have an XP system that frequently gives this message:

Server busy.
The action cannot be completed because Program Manager is not responding

And offers two buttons, switch to and retry.

What does it all mean?

AFAIK, it was never in a networked situation.

Is this your home computer? Are you the original owner?

Program Manager is not part of Windows XP. Either someone installed software on the client's computer that is now not functioning properly, or perhaps it was uninstalled incorrectly, or the computer is infected with a virus or spyware.
