Program for erasing Internet tracking??

Is there a consensuses on what is the best (or at least a good) "free"
program for erasing Internet tracking--cookies, history, Index.dat, etc.,
for Windows XP Home edition? I am familiar with Internet Explorer's built
in Tools/Internet Options feature--I am looking for something a bit more
effective.

Crap Cleaner works pretty good.

Crap Cleaner works pretty good.

Well it's good, but it doesn't do secure deletion, so it's fairly easy for
someone to recover it, using a undelete program.

Using something like cleancache, or cleanup or even better Eraser
commandline via a batch file might be an alternative if you want to make
things a bit harder.

Just in case if you care.

I like System Security Suite at:

It also allows you to delete the index.dat files on reboot.

I think most browser add-ons have a tracks erasing feature. I know Maxthon
does. It allows cleaning the address bar, search, history, cache, cookies,
and even form data. It has a "clean all" button to clean everything in one
fell swoop. De-fragging does a pretty good job of overwriting old files so
they can't be un-erased by normal means. I bet Slim and Avant browser also
have a cleanup feature.
