Hi,
i'm running xp pro and have just partitioned my hard
drive and would like to move my Program Files folder to
the new Partition but would like to know how to update
Windows and most shortcuts as to where the moved Programs
will reside? Any suggestions?

You'll have to reinstall your programs using the original
installation CDs.
