Having now got XP PRO installed I installed two programs Cakewalk (Midi Player) and Musicmatch (MP3 player).

These were installed whilst logged on as administrator. But now only the administrator can use them ?????.
Any user who logs on gets lots of errors if they try and run either of these two applications.

Have tried giving 'Full Control' to the programs directory etc to no avail....

Anyone got any ideas or do I have to back to win98

Go into admin.
uninstall them through ass/remove in control panel.
reinstall them and watch for a checkbox or checkboxes
that say...'only for this user' or 'for all users'.

Take your pick when you find it.
