we hava a secretary who takes care of 4 (different users)
mailboxes, we setup outlook 4 profiles (exchange, all on the
same exchange server) for each of them. The problem is when
switching profiles it allways asks the username and password,
even if we check that it remembers it.
You shouldn't be prompted for credentials at all, under normal
circumstances (unless you're using RPC over HTTP). What's the exact
setup (including the version & SP on Exchange and Outlook)?
My real question is, why are four Outlook profiles needed? Why
can't this user be granted full mailbox access (and perhaps send
on behalf of, or send as, rights) to the other three mailboxes, so
he/she can open them all up within one profile?
They are all exchange accounts, delivered at a local pst file (4
different pst files, one for each profile).
The reason is when the owner of his mailbox wants to take a look at
his mail, the others do not wont there's to be looked at, so it has
to be different profiles.
