Profile Missing

Hello,

I turned off my computer and everything was fine but when
I turned it on later that day XP treated the log on just
like it was my first time. All my personal settings
disappeared (background, icons, ect.), the files I had in
My Documents were gone, and my internet history
disappeared. However, when I go look at my user account in
the control panel my documents are there. It's like I'm
not logged on as me. Can anyone help?
