Professional Template Issue

Does anyone know of a place where you can get just a basic STRUCTURED site
with drop down menus and navigation panes type of template for a business a
friend of mine needs for their business site however we can not seem to find
a template that is both functional and professional with some sort of
reasonable structure. All the so-called "professional" templates to us looked
sloppy at best. Not to mention they wanted a fortune for a mediocre template.
Does anyone have a favorite template site they go to that offers templates
that also are easily managed but we don't want it to look "frontpagey" or
amateurish. Thank you for any help you can give.

FrontPage has themes and templates built in that you can begin with and then
edit to meet your needs. I also know a few people that buy cheaper ($40-$50)
boxed software at retail stores that have professional looking templates
built in that they use to build sites for companies. The software isn't
great, but sometimes they have nice looking templates that you can use
FrontPage, etc. to edit.

Which version of FrontPage are you using?

If its FrontPage 2003 we have basic Site Templates
http://www.frontpage-to-expression.com/site-templates/

however they are meant to be used from within the program so we will have to
do some testing and get the paths and different instructions written .. will
also do it for sharepoint designer 2007 which is free but is like expression
web 1. (btw if you upgrade now to expression web 3 you get expression web 4
when it becomes available). With these templates no link is required.

In the meantime Pat whom I partner with on the above site has some free
templates.

Our site templates and her dwts and templates unlike most others free or to
buy .. validate and work in all browsers they are xhtml and css driven with
dwts.. you check her's out here.

hope this helps
