yes, there is some shareware which will find out for you. do a google

If the CDs are all the same version, it doesn't matter which CD goes with
which machine. The install key is tied to the version and type, but not
to the CD.

if it was a packed pc and not a home built pc then there should be a
greeny blue stickr attach to the computer with that computers product
key on it

Google for:

"ViewKeyXP" ... views the key

"KeyUpdateTool_spa" (from Microsoft)... changes the key when necessary.
