Product Key

While trying to get Vista support, I was prompted for my product key. I
entered the key EXACTLY as it was given to me. I was told the product key is
invalid. Has anybody else had this problem and if so, how did you resolve it?

If the key is for an OEM (came with the computer) Vista then you need to
consult with the manufacture/supplier of the Machine/Vista for support.

Microsoft does not provide support for OEM Vistas.

I think that support website site asks for the Product ID, not the Product
Key, which is a different number. To see the Product ID number, right click
Computer and select Properties. Look in the Activation section at the
bottom.
