Product Key Problems

Hello--

Summary: Old computer died in June of 2006. Bought new computer July 2006,
along with MSOffice Student and Teacher edition 2003. Unfortunately, I was
called out of town and so the store I bought everything from promised to
install MSOffice and get everything going as a "free customer service". They
failed to inform me that I had to "activate" everything when I returned for
the computer.

I'm a student at ITT Tech, and I'm going to need my PowerPoint program.
Unfortunately, it tells me that my "trial version" expired August 31, and
when I try to "convert" to the full package deal, it refuses to accept my
product key code, telling me it isn't valid. I KNOW my MSOffice is
registered; I went through the registration wizard.

Is there anything I can do to fix this other than uninstall/reinstall? For
some reason, I get the feeling that if I uninstall MSOffice, I'll never get
it back, and I cannot afford to purchase another one.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello,

Do you still have the software CDs? Is the store you bought everthing from
still in business?

Did you get an installation CD when you purchased Student and Teacher Edition?
If not, I'd think the dealer hasn't played fair with you.
