Proctected My Document Folder

Dear All,

I just reinstall windows XP due to the previous installation not able to
reboot.

But the problem, due to i reinstalled in the same partition, so my previous
data (my document) is protected to be accessed.

Please advice how to retrieve this folder.

thank you for the advice, sorry i am just new in this newsgroup.
By the way, i have click the folder, nothing the Security Tab...only Tab
General, Sharing and Customize.

Please re-advice.

Take ownership of the folders and files. See this link or in Start |
