i have a computer that has an amd sempron in it, and i am thinking about
upgrading my processor to a dual core, i know it can be done, my motherboard
supporst the x2's and fx processors, (socket 939) but i was told i would have
to repurchase windows if i upgrade that, is that true, i run windows vista
ultimate, and that would be very bad, considering i would have to purchase it
all over agian...any thougts?

Nope. At the most you would have to reactivate Windows, but that is easily
done. It should do it over the internet, otherwise it's a toll free call to
Microsoft and a quick chat telling them that you upgraded your processor,
and they reactivate it for you.

No need to buy a new copy.
