Problem:
This occurs to any process. I will be using my computer and then a
process (most commonly the active one, which is most of the time
firefox.exe but not always) would spike to 50% of the CPU and stop
responding. I would be forced to end that process and then another
process (Always a user process, on the current user) would spike. To
resolve this I have been ending the current process, and then open IE,
which I don't use and then use the previous process. It really bothers
me because I always end up losing data, and when a process spikes like
this, my computer would start to make a whirring noise (maybe the fan
is moving faster). Ive tried many programs like Ewido, Norton, Ad-
Aware, Tune Up Utilities, Registry Mechanic, and Advanced WindowsCare
V2 Personal. But none have resolved the problem. I am not sure if this
is a common problem. If anyone has encountered this problem before and
seen a solution please help me.
