CPU/Process Problems [Processes Taking Up The CPU]

I am using Windows XP Home SP2 on my HP Pavilion a1150y. At random
times, a process would stop responding and take up 50% (100% really my
PC is hyperthreaded). Then when I end that process another process
would do the same thing. I tried to run registry mechanic and other reg
fixes, but my problem doesn't lie there.

Then go through the steps at the link I gave you above. Include Ewido. After
you've gone through the procedures - including the preparatory and
finishing work, if the machine is really clean post back with some of the
names and locations of the processes.

Chaos, no one can help you with the little information you are providing.
You "did find somethings"?!! What does that mean? What "somethings"?

I'm not saying this to hurt your feelings, but if 1) we have a language
translation difficulty; 2) and/or you just have a hard time putting things
into words, then don't attempt to fix your computer by using written
messages.

Take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local
version of BigStoreUSA) and have them look at it. Someone who can *see* the
machine and has the skill to understand what they see is going to be able
to get your problems resolved quickly. Again, I'm not saying this to be
mean; I'm just being practical.
