Hi,

Someone could tell me where I can find a complete procedure to transfert
settings, rules, accounts, contact, calendar and emails of my Outlook 2007
from a computer to another one.

I already install Outlook 2007 on my new computer, now tell me what I have
to do, to have exactly the same setting and interface then my old computer
Outlook.

It doesnt contain accounts, they are in the win registry
You dont Import the pst, you add it using data management, or
File>Open....within OL

If you're using the COnnector, there is no mail to move. I't all on the
server and will appear there once you redefine your Windows Live account on
the second PC.

As for other settings, there's no good way to transfer them all between
machines. It's usually best to redefine them manually.

I did not try anything for the moment. If I well understand the PST file
include all the settings of Outlook 2003 except the mail accounts? In my
Outlook, I have 6 email accounts + 2 Hotmail (managed by Connector).

There is a way to transfert easily the email accounts ??

I have 6 regular email accounts plus 2 Hotmail accounts in my Outlook. I
just mention that I use Connector (for my Hotmail accounts) just in case a
feature in Connector can help me to transfer my other accounts.

If the other accounts are pop mail accounts, with Outlook closed, copy the
pst file(s) to Documents folder on the new PC
Then within Outlook, or via Data Management, add the copied pst(s) - you
have the option to set a default msg store (the pst that sends/receives)

If they are imap accounts, data is on the server and will be redownloaded
once the account is implimented
The Hotmail data is on their server

There's no reliable way to transfer Outlook mail accounts between two
computers. Since setting up a mail account in Outlook is trivial, why would
you need to transfer them. Setting up six accounts in Outlook might take all
of three minutes.
