Probs with IE 6 and opening second windows

I am using IE 6.0 and trying to access my company's
website for employee information. When I enter my
information and click on OK, instead of the window
opening with my employee data, scheduling, etc. a dialog
box comes up saying "The webpage you are viewing is
trying to close the window. Do you want to close this
window?". At the bottom left of the IE window you can
see A pop-up window was blocked. I have made all Active-
X controls enabled for now but it hasn't seemed to help.
 
Do you have a popup blocker running in the background? Yahoo popup blocker?
Temporarily turn it off.
