Hi All,

Today I powered up my machine to find a blue screen of
death with the message " Stop innaccessible_boot_device.
Check for viruses on your computer.
Remove any ewly installed hard drives, or hard drive
controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure that it is
configured and terminated properly. Run CHKDSK /f to check
for hard drive corruption and then restart your computer"

I have attempted to boot from a windows 98 boot disk to
try and access the c:\ drive but am unable to do so.

Please could anyone help me with this problem.

Windows 98 can't access hard drives formatted NTFS.

Have you tried to boot in safe mode ?? Hit F8 when your
computer starts and choose safe mode.
