Problems with upgrading to Windows XP. Please Help!!!

Hi

Im trying to upgrade from Windows ME to Windows XP. After a few minutes of upgrading, a report appears and says that my: NVIDIA G-FORCE MX 440 needs additional files. The only files I have for it are the installed drivers for Windows ME. Can anyone please help me? I would really appreciate that as long as I get Windows XP to work

Instead of an upgrade, try doing a clean install. I assume you've run
the XP Upgrade Advisor first. Understand that when you format a drive,
you will lose all data on it, so have backups of all your important
data first. Do the install with no peripherals attached. Unless the
hardware is failing, XP should have no problem using an Nvidia MMX
card.
