Problems with the Find & Select

I have an Excel document with cells formatted as numbers.
I know the value I'm searching for is there as I can find it
manually. When I use Excels Find it tells me it can't find the data
I'm looking for in this document. Any idea why it doesn't work?
I use Excel 2007. Thanks

I take it that the numbers your looking for have been created by a formula.
If so, in the Find dialogue box use the drop down list next to 'Look in' to
change it from Formulas to Values.
hopefully that should work.
