Hello,

I'm from Norway and I'm trying to start a dos program called Dox10 in an
english version of WinXp. This program is for programing PLC's. In this
program we have used norwegian chatracters æ ø å. But there seems like they
are not showing right. ie. the Ø is stated like a Y with 2 horisontal lines
under the V :)

I think maybe there is something I should put in to the autoexec.nt or the
config.nt

Can you help me please?

The character Y with 2 horizontal lines under the V is the symbol for Yen.

Guess.
The DOS program you are using is accessing the font extended characters
differently than a Windows program. You did not say which process you are
using to insert the symbols. If you are using the ALT+numeric key board
process, you may need to experiment to find the correct code to use with
your DOS program. Once you determine the correct code, the code should not
change

Perhaps others can give you more help.

Hi there, the programme is set up to use the ANSI character set, which you can see at http://www.alanwood.net/demos/ansi.html
I would suggest that you check this out, find your Norwegian characters and then enter them using the correct ANSI code. Not a quick solution if you have many text changes to do but.....
Best of Luck
