Problems with Solver

Excel2002 - english version with danish MUI

I have marked the Solver Addin- under Tools and Add-ins but it is not shown
afterwards under Tools. Excel has been restartede. Any ideas what might be
wrong?

Is it still checked under Tools|Add-ins? If not, did Excel crash out of
the session where you checked Solver? If not, do you have
administrative rights on you PC (or at least authority for apps to write
registry keys under HKEY_CURRENT_USER)?
