Hi everyone:
I'm running XP Pro with SP2 on my office computers. Recently, I've
encountered some problems with the Recycle Bin on one of my computers. It
doesn't function anymore.
Symptoms:
The icon on the desktop always "appears" full, even after I choose to
"empty" the bin. Even after I empty the bin, electing to "empty" it again
calls up a confirmation window asking me if I'm sure I want to "delete these
4 items" which I have been electing to delete for weeks now! Also, any files
I try to delete do not show up in the Recycle Bin anymore. Instead, it
always is empty (except that when I choose to empty it, it always confirms
the file delete for "these 4 items") and that the desktop icon "appears" full.
Does anyone know of a way to reinstall the recycle bin or anything like
that? I would appreciate ANY help!!!
