Problems with read only attributes

When I right click a folder to change its attributes the
read only attribute is on, I remove it and if I close and
open it again the read only is selected again. I did the
same thing to the master folder and the same thing
happens. I tried some free programs to remove the
attribute and I also tried removing it from the cmd.
Please let me know if you have any idea how to solve it.

The read-only attribute does not mean read-only on
folders. It is used internally by Windows to track your
views for the folder. It does not make the contents of
the folder read-only.

What is the problem you are having that lead you to this?
