When i attempt to publish changes to my website it just keeps prompting me
for a password over and over. Does anyone know what I can do?

Hi,

First be sure that the user name and password you are entering are correct.
If they are and it still doesn't work and you have a control panel..try
resetting the FrontPage extensions. If not then ask your host to run a check
and fix on the extensions as well as checking your permissions.

I won't be cheeky and say enter the password. I don't normally get this
problem when publishing but I used to get it when I had feeds coming in from
other websites within our group. If this the same as your problem then try
and get all of the feeds (information) on to your website as an internal link
won't keep asking for the password.

Maybe one of the experts will answer you if this doesn't correct the problem.

You might be having the same problem that I am having. When I try to
publish, I get the same prompt for username and password. I just noticed
that in the "status" area at the bottom of the screen it says " Opening web
site http://home.hot.rr.com/j/p/jpcantrell". The web site name is
"http://home.hot.rr.com/jpcantrell". Notice that for some reason an
additional "/j/p" was inserted. I have typed and retype the correct site
name in the remote web site properties but no luck. I am still looking for a
solution.
