Problems with Performance

Hello,

I just installed windows vista 32bit home premium on a new hard drive. I
installed the drivers for the mobo, 8800GT, downloaded all the updates.
While downloading the updates I received a system error. Now it reads that I
am using a Non Genuine copy of Vista. I have 2GB of Crucial Ballistix DDR2
800. When everything was working, programs took forever to execute. Is it a
possible hard drive problem? Memory Speed not setup correctly? How can I
reinstall windows so that the genuine version is there? Please help. MOBO
is MSI PN6 Diamond I Nvidia 680i SLI

it's not a hardware problem... its a software problem. i have been suffering
with vista for three months and have tried everything possible to speed up
the performance of my machine and nothing works.

Vista is just a piece of crap. this reminds me of windows ME. a complete
disaster!!!
