problems with new install

Hello,

If I restore the MBR from an Acronis Image, what would happen to the
partition table because I re-arranged the partitions since I made the copy of
the MBR.
Will it be okay to restore the MBR despite the partitions changes ?

the problem is I deleted the first partiton (XP) from another installation
of XP on partition 5, then reinstalled clean to partition 1, and now can't
access partition 5.
just to clarify.
