Great! Here is my first question: How do I set the date on
my PC so that it shows correctly when posting in newsgroups? ;-)

- David is the great and powerful Oz! David says, "Ignore that man
behind the curtain."
- David has neglected to take his medication and is again hearing those
voices in his head.
- David suffers multiple personalities, one of which has him chanting,
"Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated."
- David is a spammer who wants your e-mail address.
- David Lipman is aptly named because he is a little "man" and provides
lip service.
- David doesn't have a job and instead wants to spend all his time
reading e-mails.
- David is very, very lonely and desperate for any contact.
- David doesn't know enough to even figure out how to set the date on
Daddy's computer but, of course, he really, really knows everything
about Microsoft products, yep, sure, uh huh.
- David is still at that age where girls are yucky.
- David's mother wishes he would turn off the computer and go outside to
play with the other kids.
- David's expertise is evidenced by his rudeness in multiposting instead
of crossposting.
- Wannabe David's expertise is further evidenced by his lack of
knowledge regarding the headers in his own post, like NNTP-Posting-Host,
where we can see this joker is impersonating David H. Lipman (who posts
to usenet from a verizon.net domain, not from virtelco.com in the UK).
Wannabe David hopes no one notices and he won't get his account killed
due to complaints but, alas, Wannabe David really has still forgotten to
take his medication.

David made my short "block sender list"

Congratulations, David!

Congratulations, David!

You didn't read my last point in my prior post (and the one to which you
replied rather than replying to *David*), did you? Do you plonk
everyone *claiming* to be someone else? Did you even do a Google Groups
search on author
(http://groups.google.com/groups?q=author:"David+Lipman")?

Nope.

Congratulations, David!

Somebody is impersonating David on these newsgroups.

If you check the headers of the original message on this thread, the
one purporting to be from David H. Lipman you will see the following:

NNTP-Posting-Host: 217-72-173-64.pool.access.hc.th.virtelco.com
217.72.173.64

Legitimate posts from David show the origin as a verizon.net i.p.
address.

Thanks for the update. I wrongly assumed that this was
one and the same person and subsequently did the real
owner of the name an injustice.

It was the "bad" David that I blocked.
