Problems with loading Windows Update

I am currently running Windows XP SP2. My downloads are done automatically
and once they are done I have a yellow shield icon in my system tray saying
that downloads are ready to be installed. I try to install them but they
fail. I have attempted numerous times but still no luck.

This is the first time it has happened. I do have SBC Yahoo DSL security
suite along with Windows Antispyware program, along with spysweeper and
window washer.

I also have AV Firewall but like I said, this is a first for me.

Can anyone help me out with this problem? I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Tom

appropriate copy and paste the error code lines in your post from the Update log as
it will give more of a clue as to why they have failed
