Problems with Installing Software

My computer just got reformatted and my XP Home was updated to SP2. However,
when reinstalling my Palm Desktop Software (for Tungsten E2), my screen keeps
hanging at the Palmone Installshield wizard. I have to reboot the computer to
get out of this screen.

I have tried downloading the Palm software from the website, changing the
display of my screen, even trying to locate the STDOLE 32.TLB file but the
problem remains unsolved.

Any suggestions? thanks!

To which I'd add: Don't post "Captain Obvious" weblinks. Doing so not only
aggravates the original poster, but also wastes the time of anyone else who
might be interested in the answer.

You don't have to waste your time reading my responses, it's your choice and your
choice alone.

Ah, well at least you admit they are a waste of time... ;-)

For you, of course, along with some others. Yet there are others that benefit and
those are the ones that matter.

BTW, don't you have any helpful suggestion for the OP to possibly rectify the issue
at hand, or are you just simply wasting time?
