problems with ghost 9 image..

I had a harddisk failure, so i replaced mine harddisk. I restored the drive
with the image i made with Norton Ghost 9. This went well. The problem
occured when i restarted my pc, the login window came in my screen(use login
with password), the minute that i try to login, the system logouts
immediately . I've tried several times, but nothing works, who can help?
 
There may be issues with Windows recognizing the new hard drive (since the
Ghost image ghosted the old hard drive). The usual fix for this is a repair
install of XP - it'll leave your data and programs intact while restoring the
OS to it's proper state. Here's a link to a how-to:
