All my pc's are connected together using the same workgroup. each have a
differant computer name. All the pc's have been setup in the same way to
access each other but when you try and access the shared documents folder it
does not allow you. it says you do not have permission. all the permisions
are set up properly and how they sould be but still no success only one
computer can be read and that is being used as a server but i dont want to be
putting any more stress on as there is enough on it as there is. so does any
one know what is happening and knows how to ressolve the problem.

Create identical user accounts and passwords on all machines. Share out
desired resources, making sure that proper permissions (i.e.,
read/write) are set. You didn't tell us what operating systems are
involved, so you may need to reboot. Now see if things work.
