problems with DOS program

Hello
I have a DOS program that crash when i press alt+enter to have a complete screen, if I use a window it runs correctly
It doesn't give me any error message, it stop running and I should shutdown manually
I tried all the compatibility modes and it doesn't work any way
Someone have any idea or suggestion how can I test the problem or solve it

I think I have the solution, i read in other that sometimes a SIS chipset in motherboard can make the same problem
I test the program and only runs in the computers without SIS chipset
Anybody knows the same problem
