Problems with bios for ASUS P4P800-VM version 1010

After updating my bios from version 1009 to 1010 my motherboard is no longer
able to remember my BIOS settings (including date and time). I have reloaded
default values several times. If I use the CD that came with the machine to
go back to version 1005 it works again. Anybody else have this problem?

PS: My computer do not have a floppy drive and therefore using anything but
ASUS liveupdate is diffucult. And unfortunately liveupdate does not allow me
to revert to an old BIOS.

Is the BIOS reset jumper in the correct position?
Try resettin gthe BIOS using the jumper, this will make it default to the
original settings.
Is the battery in good condition and still in the holder?

If the jumper is still in the reset position, the BIOS will reset itself
every time you switch off.
