P4P800 Deluxe - Update Utility doesn't work

The WinXP based update utility doesn't work after BIOS update.
BIOS factory rev.: 1008 => update utility works fine.
But now, with BIOS rev. 1010 beta 006 the update utility doesn't work.
First time with BIOS 1010 the utility said: "unknown Motherboard???"
So I decided to de-install the utility and to start installation again.
Next time the update utility has stopped installation
with the following message:
"ASUS BIOSINFO.DLL...." message on top of window
"NT service registry error! Please reboot NT and run again!"

My configuration:
- WinXP
- Pentium 4 with 2.4G
- ASUS P4P800 Deluxe, Release Date 08/20/2003, Rev 1.xx
- ASUS P4P800 Deluxe, Serial: MB-123456789
- BIOS - factory rev. 1008
- BIOS - rev. after update 1010 Beta 006

who can help? and idea?

This is normal they have changed the way their BIOS is being updated. Also
you are now suppose to be using AFUDOS to do your BIOS flashing. Go check
the support section of the ASUS website.

Can't agree although you are a 'little bit right'.
ASUS must have found errors in their Windows Updater. Go to ASUS
website and download the latest version. It will work again with the
new BIOS.
