Problems with Acrobat and Acrobat Reader 6

Some, not all, of our users have experienced problems with Acrobat 6 while
accessing PDF files over the Internet with Acrobat opening within IE 6 (with
current updates and patches). OS is XP SP1.
In all cases, if the files are saved from the site to a local disk and
opened with Acrobat without involving IE with Acrobat, Acrobat behaves
normally.
Acrobat Reader 6.0.3 (uninstalled and reinstalled to no effect) does not
display the results window when performing a search.
Acrobat 6 professional gives "unexpected error...have to close" message when
printing.
Again, these problem occur only if Acrobat opens within IE 6. The problem
affects different PDFs from different sites.
Any ideas, please.

Adobe recently posted updates to Reader 7.01 - you are a bit behind.

The latest update I'm aware of is 7.0.0: where did u get that 7.01?

Thanks, but in my workplace we are limited to approved versions and Acrobat 7
hasn't been approved yet. My problem affects not only Reader 6 but Acrobat
Pro 6.
