problems with acer grafic driver

hi group!

I have a very strange problem with acer notebooks: If we use Microsoft excel
(2002 or 2003)(sometimes also in Word) there is the problem that dialog
boxes sometimes do not appear - they only appear if we change the task - for
example go to another program and come back. The problem is this is the
newes driver of Acer so I can not do anything in this direction. I am
searching for someone that has the same troubles with acer notebooks and
office - Anybody an idea?

Hi Mary!

The problem is that Acer says: In the default installation there is no
problem - they do not support office problems. But it is definitely no
office problem - it's a driver problem because starting in vga mode solves
the problem - Any other ideas?

Try posting the question in one of the Office newsgroups, I seem to
recall reading about a simular problem there.
