I just purchased a new Dell Notebook with Windows Vista Ultimate preloaded
and am having problems using Microsoft Access at work. We have a simple
peer-to-peer network with Access hosted on one of the computers. The rest of
the work stations have front end databases that pull data from this one back
end file. Everything was created using Access '97. I realize that Vista
doesn't fully support Access '97 and upgraded to Access 2002 (also called XP
I believe). Everything is working great until I installed a recommended
update, either Security Update for CAPICOM or Office XP Service Pack 3 (the
likely culprit). After installing these updates Access crashes everytime I
load our customer form. I can open other forms without a problem but for
some reason this form crashes the entire program. Anyone have any ideas?
