problems w/java vitual machine

Everytime I try to certin things in the internet there is
a message that comes up, that i have to install the java
vitual machine and for me to go the the internet explorer
under tools and then go to windows up date and install it
but when I do the explorer says there is no updates at the
moment. Can anybody help me install the vital machine?

You can get download & install it from one of the links in
http://java-virtual-machine.net/download.html or
http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp (Sun's version)
