Problems w/ Internet Options on toolbar

I have a quick question that I hope one of you can help
me with. I am using IE 6.0 and need to know how to
restore the various tabs in the Internet Options screen
of the TOOLS pull-down menu. Up until last night I had
the General Tab and was able to set my startup page, and
delete such things as the cookies, off-line temp files,
and history. Now, when I select the Internet Options, I
have only the following tabs: Security, Privacy, Content,
Connections, and Advanced. I like the ability to clear
out files on my laptop when I am done on the internet and
this is driving me crazy. Does anyone know what I did to
cause this problem, and how do I fix it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Start-Run-Regedit

There could be more than one "GeneralTab" value.
Try these keys first and then search for GeneralTab (no space)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Control Panel

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Control Panel

Remove "GeneralTab" if present.
