Problems Shutting down pc !!

I'm experencing some problems with my system when i shut
it down. It comes down to the last screen, where it says
1) Logging off...
2) Saving your settings...
3) Shutting down...

and then it gets stuck at the shutting down screen.
i'd aprreciate any help on this matter as i can't find
any matter on this subject. The only alternative i have
is to switch of the computer manually.

Power the Computer Off or Reboot After Shutdown
